A Song for Ross Baker and Leanne Cox

Leanne CoxAlong with many thousands of others, Ross Baker died in the Asian Tsunami disaster, washed away with his friend Leanne Cox from their beach residence on Koh Phi Phi Island in Thailand.

Ross Baker was on a 1 month break from his part as "Schlomo" in the national tour of Fame The Musical when events overtook him.

Prior to his disappearance, Ross had a glowing musical theatre career and during this time he had the chance to make a solo recording of "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge. It is a haunting, poignant performance which brings tears to the eyes.

A benefit single of the track has been released, funds to be divided between the Tsunami Appeal and a Ross Baker Ross Baker Scholarship Fund which Fame is looking to set up at the Royal Academy of Music (where Ross completed a postgraduate course in Musical Theatre).

If you would like to follow this up Jodie is contactable at bodie_jaker@yahoo.co.uk. Jodie can send CD audio copies immediately.
